– Criterio de puntuación –

– ¡No lo toques que puede explotar! Aunque eso nos ahorraría tener que jugarlo. El Bom se lo llevan juegos muy malos, o no tan malos pero que tienen demasiados errores y/o fallos imperdonables.

– Ha hecho méritos para ganar un Cactilio, lo cuál demuestra que es un juego entretenido. Por desgracia, es poco más lo que se puede decir de él. Si te mola el estilo, dale una oportunidad; te puede enganchar. Si no… pasando.

– Dos Cactilios son señal de juego bastante interesante. Su calidad está por encima de la media, pero sigue faltándole «algo» para convertirse en un grande. Recomendado siempre que no os dé repelús su género. Aun así, puede sorprenderos.

– Si un juego gana el tercer Cactilio es porque se están haciendo muy bien las cosas. Los mejores videojuegos de cada generación estarán catalogados aquí. Todo el dinero y tiempo invertidos en él habrán merecido la pena. Juega sí o sí.

– Muy pocos videojuegos pueden presumir de llevarse una familia de Cactilios. Son ejemplos a seguir en varios apartados, y que se mantienen igual de adictivos con el paso de los años. No cambiaría absolutamente nada de ellos (salvo cosas temporales, como los gráficos, o ajenas al juego, como la traducción). Son los videojuegos que más me han marcado. Los culpables de que exista Makō Sedai.

– Hay veces que, por diferentes motivos, se hace muy difícil calificar un videojuego. En esos casos, lo mejor es que se quede sin nota.

¿Por qué es Makō Sedai mejor que otras webs donde analizan videojuegos? (o, al menos, más sensata)

El sistema de puntuación con Cactilios no tiene nada que ver con lo que estáis acostumbrados a ver: el deficiente sistema de puntuar sobre 5, 10, 100, etc.
Aquí no hay nota máxima, ya que siempre se puede hacer un juego mejor que «los mejores», del mismo modo que puede haber un nuevo juego peor incluso que «los peores». Un sistema tradicional quedaría en evidencia, a no ser que hagan cosas ilógicas como poner «-1» u «11 sobre 10» a un videojuego.
Los Cactilios NO SON NOTAS que indican cómo de bueno es el juego, sino que indican mi nivel de recomendación de los mismos. Normalmente es algo que va de la mano, claro. Pero no significa cuánto me he divertido, porque hay que saber ver más allá y diferenciar «lo que me divierte» de «lo que considero que es bueno de verdad». Puedo dedicar 60 horas a un juego que no me aburre y darle un Bom, si lo considero oportuno.
Dos juegos con el mismo número de Cactilios no tienen por qué ser igual de buenos. Uno me puede parecer mejor que el otro, y no tengo por qué ocultarlo o darle a uno «una centésima más». Si tienen los mismos Cactilios, os los recomiendo de igual manera. Que luego os gusten más o menos, depende de cada uno. Cada persona es un mundo, y esto no deja de ser la opinión de una sola persona, cuyo criterio dejo a vuestra valoración.
Por mi parte, me comprometo a hablar con conocimiento de causa, analizando únicamente juegos que he terminado muy recientemente, sin importar la fecha en que salieran a la venta.
